With a shared vision and complementary skills, we have formed Sweet Aperture to bring you a unique blend of photography and videography that goes beyond the ordinary.

Our journey into the world of visual storytelling began with a shared dream and a mutual fascination for freezing fleeting moments in time. Stephanie Kirsch

Lead Photographer

Videographer

Stephanie was born and raised in Nashua NH, and always had artistic bones within her. She graduated with a focus on everything art from high school, shortly after graduating with a Bachelors of Science from Keene State College where she majored in Architecture with a dual minor in both Sustainable Product Design and Innovation and Studio Art in 2014. Stephanie worked her way through college by interning and laying a strong foundation in the wedding industry primarily as a Wedding Photographer. After college, Stephanie began to branch out and focus on other aspects of photography, including portraiture and general business operations.

In 2020, Stephanie left her world of Architecture to pursue a dream of opening a Photography Studio alongside her husband. Though this was not her first time opening a studio location, it was her first time opening in a high traffic commercial property and running with the dream full time. The studio was a success, and the dream was fueled even more.

Since, Stephanie has expanded to the point that the little studio on the oval was outgrown, and has relocated to continue to grow.

With over ten years of experience, Stephanie has taken on the role as a Digital Media Educator for others, teaching the value of the industry to our youth and how to use a camera as an extension of your hand, not just a too. Photography and Editing workshops are available privately with Stephanie, as her dream is to share with the world what she has learned over the years In the industry.

Stephanie as a Photography Educator has made a point to understand camera equipment inside and out. She loves to shoot film and develop her own film, but truly specializes in Digital Photography. Stephanie primarily shoots with a Canon Mk IV however due to the nature of her experience, can pick up any camera to work with as she truly has learned to understand cameras inside and out, down to the individual gears within!

When Stephanie isn't behind the camera, she is with her three amazing children teaching them how to hold a camera of their own, or trying to figure out how to finance the dream of living within Cinderellas Castle. (Some day Disney.... some day!)

Nicholas Kirsch

Nicholas was born and raised in Niagara Falls, NY. Originally starting his pathway in the culinary feild, Nick spent some elective time exploring the pathways of a professional videographer. It wasn't until years later when he met Stephanie that the desire to pursue videography as his own profession became a reality. Nicholas had his own unique eye for detail that always threw Stephanie for a loop.

Nicholas helped Stephanie open their first "open to the public" studio on the oval in Milford NH in 2020 during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic, when most other businesses were shutting down. The studio showcased the elective mix of experience coming together at last, and allowed Sweet Aperture to boom. A few years later the studio closed as the company had outgrown its space, and has since relocated to Wilton NH.

Nicholas thought specializing in Videography also loves the world of Photography, and either way can find himself behind the lens more often than not. Nicholas has a strong sense of adventure, and loves to bring his camera along for the journey. In his spare time, Nick enjoys the outdoors and using his camera to capture landscapes and bringing the little details of nature to life via fine art prints.

Nicholas specializes in Digital Photography and Videography and is a Wiz with Audio Engineering. Nick has a variety of equipment he works with as the equipment required can easily vary job to job, but primarily shoots Canon.

When Nick isn't behind the camera, he loves the outdoors and can often be found hanging out in the hammock in the back yard watching the clouds go by with his three kiddos. Nick has an extensive bucket list of places to visit- so if your getting married somewhere cool, make sure to let him know because he will likely drop everything and make it happen.
